SEO process blogs for beginners / newbies

I got some of my salary today. That’s good, I was planning to go shopping tonight, but I will have to do it tomorrow. Well, I’ll pass by a friend’s party tonight…

Anyways, so I have been listening to Word Talk Radio. That’s great! That link takes you to a radio interview about how to use the Wordpress blog platform. There’s so much to take in. Then I have to take note of new Search engine optimization blogs, website development etc. websites. I guess I could just forget about this endeavor but I figured, if I don’t do this now, I won’t know what I’m made of. I know that if I stick to this (I don’t want to loose my motivation) I will have my SEO Mommy website by the end of this year, and I will be soooo happy. It’s really amazing, time passes by so quickly, that if you don’t do something in one month, you’ll realize you could have done so much within that time. I’m not going to let this happen to me-NOT this time. I’m going to have my site up by the end of this year 2007.

I am going to need a laptop, though. I’m planning to save up money to buy one THIS year (hopefully within a few months). That way, when I go home from work, I can just dive in and get to work on the things I couldn’t do at the job. Any contributions? It’s going to be great! Please have patience with me. I was never computer or tech savy, but I like the whole internet vibes. Oh, this is driving me so much. I can feel my heart almost beating faster (oooh). I’m typing really quickly now cuz the words are just flowing like water. Okay. enough. Back to work.

My supervisor, Lex, I have recruited him as my main advisor on this project. So, next week, he will help me with buying my domain name. After that, I’m going to install Wordpress, and Lex told me I’m on my own from there. I know that he doesn’t want to babysit me and I don’t want him to either. NOW is the time for me to find out what I’m made of. I’m going to share all my experience with all of you who want to read and take this journey with me. There’s no point in me holding back anything because the information is not mine to keep.

I’m going to LOG EVERYTHING. Take note of EVERYTHING I do. This is a great challenge and goal for me to meet because I’m going to learn from ’scratch’ how to maintain a website, and of course, implement SEO along the way. I haven’t made a plan/layout as yet for my website. I’m going to make a few mistakes at times, and that’s why I’m going to need you all to help me, because actually, it’s a project that we can all do together.

This site is meant to appeal mainly to those of you who decided six months ago that you just LOVE SEO and that it’s the greatest thing in the world, and who are in the same boat as me.
